Bronx native Leon has been a well respected member of the film industry for decades. He has worked with actors and directors as far ranging as John Candy, Michael Mann, Madonna, Tom Cruise, Sylvester Stallone and Angela Bassett. He is known for starring in films such as The Five Heartbeats, Cool Runnings, and Above the Rim, and was nominated for an Emmy for his work as Little Richard in the eponymous 2000 film.
