Where Arthur Nascarella Gets The Stones (and When He Does, You Might Just Have a Problem…)
Having spent 21 years working for the NYPD (much of that time, making busts for the Undercover Narcotics Division), Nascarella learned more about high stakes “acting” than anybody this side of Donnie Brasco. From the moment he finally stepped in front of the camera at the age of 46, he found himself to be an in-demand character actor, compiling over 80 credits to his name including being cast in 9 Spike Lee Joints (and counting…)
As a young man, Arthur Nascarella spent 8 years in the US Marine Corps where he operated a flamethrower, before joining the NYPD Narcotics Division as an undercover detective. This undercover experience served him well as he used the acting chops he learned there to transition into a film career. Best known for his television work as Carlo Gervasi on The Sopranos, he also worked with James Mangold in Copland, Martin Scorsese on Bringing Out the Dead, and 9 times with Spike Lee. Currently, he can be seen portraying Bruno Capparelo on the Showtime hit Billions.
